“The climate emergency after the Covid-19 pandemic in Greece and the European Union”

which will take place online on Tuesday, 06 April 2021 at 11.00 through the platform zoom

Petros Kokkalis is a businessman and Greek sports manager. He studied Modern History at Hampshire University and held postgraduate studies in Public Administration at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government. He is the co-founder and secretary, since 2009, of the Greek environmental NGO Organization Earth, , with remarkable work in environmental awareness and education.​

In 2019 he was elected as a Member of the European Parliament with SYRIZA – Progressive Alliance and is a member of the Left Group in the European Parliament. As an MEP, he is Vice-Chair of the Delegation to the EU-Serbia Stabilization and Association Parliamentary Committee, a member of the Committee on the Environment, Public Health and Food Safety and a substitute member of the Committees on Budgets, on Agriculture and Rural Development and on Fisheries, as well as of the Delegation for relations with Israel and the Delegation for relations with India.
