Η διάλεξη πραγματοποιείται στο πλαίσιο του μεταπτυχιακού μαθήματος «Εισαγωγή στη Συγκριτική Πολιτική – Πολιτικά συστήματα στη Δυτική Ευρώπη».

Yannis Vergioglou is a PhD candidate in the European Politics Research Group of ETH Zurich since September 2019. He obtained a Master’s Degree from ETH Zurich with the support of ETH Foundation full excellence scholarship (ESOP). Prior to joining ETH, he studied political science at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and European politics at Maastricht University. During his undergraduate studies he worked at the European Green Partly Headquarters in Brussels and the Directorate General for Development programming in Central Greece. His main research project focuses on electoral and attitudinal effects of public policy with emphasis on natural experiments and causal inference methods. Since 2020 he has also been the graduate teaching assistant at the migration policy lab of ETH, conducting tutorials on Machine learning and Causal Inference methods for social science.
